"It was a great experience renting a room. Beatrice was very kind and open. The location is quite convenient, close to the subway , cafes with different cuisines and a large supermarket with a good selection of groceries. Conveniently I had my own separate toilet , shower and balcony. There was a closet in the room where you could put things on shelves and also hang them on hangers. The room also had a large bed with the most comfortable mattress. In addition to everything in the room there was a separate kettle and mugs. I was allowed to use whatever I needed in the kitchen in the common area. It was very clean. My stay was very comfortable. I am very grateful to Beatrice for her hospitality."

"Beatrice was very nice and welcoming. When I came into the room there was tea and water for me to make a cuppa and enjoy on the balcony. The room was very cozy with a private bathroom and the view amazing. The location was ace, it was close to many bars and cafes and the metro. It was also a walkable distance from other landmarks in Paris."

"Listing as shown in photos with very spacious, clean, peaceful room in a safe neighbourhood that is very close to a numerous variety of great restaurants, groceries, metro, etc.; Host/Owner generously permitted access to kitchen which was greatly appreciated despite impacting her own schedule (sorry!) and also very thoughtfully made space for guest's things in both kitchen and washroom; very respectful of and excellent degree of privacy, and a very calm, restful place, despite being a shared accommodation; adorable cat with which one could easily interact as much or as little as one prefers. Also, very much appreciated Hosts being able to accommodate an earlier check-in. Merci beaucoup pour votre hospitalité chaleureuse et pour un séjour très confortable et tranquille!"

"Booking.com website translation not clear -- though described as a "chambre (room)" in the original French description, the English wording uses "Apartment" and this led to the impression that one would be booking an entire private apartment for oneself even though it is actually a bedroom in a shared living space. After booking, the Owner did clarify this prior to arrival and in the end, it turned out very well -- a serendipitous opportunity to meet lovely Hosts and make new friends :)"
